Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
We offer professional massage therapy and integrative bodywork, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, cupping therapy, lymphatic support, somatic bodywork, and nutritional therapy. Each session is customized to your needs.
Where are you located?
Our primary studio is located in Basalt, Colorado. We serve clients throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, including Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Willits, Woody Creek, Snowmass, and Aspen. Limited in-home sessions are available.
What is the difference between Swedish and deep tissue massage?
Swedish massage focuses on relaxation, circulation, and overall ease using lighter to moderate pressure. Deep tissue massage uses slower, more targeted techniques to address chronic muscle tension and deeper layers of tissue. Pressure is always adjusted to client comfort.
Do you offer prenatal massage?
Yes. We offer prenatal massage for clients in healthy pregnancies. Sessions are adapted for comfort and safety, using appropriate positioning and techniques to support relaxation and reduce common pregnancy-related tension.
What is cupping therapy?
Cupping therapy uses suction cups placed on the skin to create gentle negative pressure. It is commonly used to support circulation, reduce muscle tension, and improve tissue mobility. Cupping can be incorporated into massage sessions as appropriate.
What is somatic bodywork?
Somatic bodywork is a gentle, awareness-based approach that focuses on the connection between the nervous system and physical experience. It can support stress regulation, body awareness, and a sense of grounding.
What should I expect during my first session?
Your first session begins with a brief intake and conversation about your goals, preferences, and any relevant health considerations. The session is then tailored to your needs, with ongoing communication throughout.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked easily through our online booking system. If you have questions before booking, you’re welcome to reach out directly.
Are your therapists licensed?
Yes. All massage therapy sessions are provided by licensed massage therapists in the state of Colorado.
